Jamie Ford built the EvoPet app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Jamie Ford and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Cloud Save and Signing In

EvoPet can keep a copy of your save in the cloud so you can carry it between devices. This is optional: if you never sign in, nothing in this section applies to you and no save of yours leaves your device.

Signing in uses your Google account. EvoPet never sees your password — you sign in on Google’s own page, and Google tells my server only which account you are and what your email address is. From that I store two things: an identifier Google uses for your account, and your email address, which is there so that I can recognise the same account next time, and so that I have a way to reach you about your account if I ever need one. If Google has not confirmed that you control the address, it is not stored at all. Anything else Google offers along the way is discarded unread.

When your game saves to the cloud, the server stores the save file itself, and a set of figures read out of it: how long you have played, how much money you have, which pets are in your slots, and the statistics the game already tracks for you, such as battles played and maps completed. All of it comes out of the save file you sent — none of it is gathered separately, and none of it is about anything you do outside the game.

A record of each sign-in — which provider, whether it worked, and when — is kept for seven days so that I can tell whether logging in is working for people. The web server also keeps ordinary access logs, which include IP addresses, for a short period before they are rotated away.

Your save and your account details are kept until you delete them. Deleting your account from inside the game erases it, along with every linked sign-in, every cloud save, and every figure derived from one. That deletion is immediate and it is not recoverable, by you or by me — so please make sure you have a copy of anything you want to keep first.

None of this is sold, shared, or handed to anybody else. There is no advertising in EvoPet, and no analytics or tracking service receives your save data or your email address. The server is a machine I rent and administer myself.

Log Data

I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Therefore, I strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. I have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
